First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study followed 13 children and adults who had a permanent tooth knocked out and then replanted (put back in). The goal was to see how long the replanted teeth lasted and what problems came up, like infection or tooth loss. Researchers also looked at how factors like time out of the mouth and how the tooth was stored affected the outcome.
