First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at how accurately dental students can assess their own performance when doing root canal treatments. Over 200 patients received treatment from students using one of two different file systems. The students' self-evaluations were then compared with assessments from experienced dentists. The goal is to understand where students' self-assessment differs from expert opinion, which can help improve dental training.
