First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at how accurately dental students can assess their own root canal treatments compared to expert evaluations. About 201 patients needing root canal therapy on a molar will be treated by students using one of two rotary file systems. The goal is to see if students' self-assessments match expert reviews, and whether the file system used affects the results.
