Tooth shield showdown: which sealant best protects Kids' smiles?
NCT ID NCT07388472
Summary
This study compared three different types of dental sealants to see which ones stay in place best and prevent cavities in children's back teeth over two years. Researchers worked with 200 healthy children aged 6-12, applying different sealants to matching teeth on opposite sides of each child's mouth. They checked how well the sealants held up and whether cavities developed during regular dental checkups over 24 months.
