New dental sealant tested to shield Kids' teeth from cavities
NCT ID NCT07262502
Summary
This study is testing how well a special dental sealant works to prevent cavities in children's permanent back molars. Researchers are applying the sealant to 500 teeth in 250 healthy children aged 7-11. They are comparing how well the sealant sticks and performs when the tooth surface is kept dry versus when it's slightly wet, checking the results over a year.
