Dentists on front lines of eating disorder detection
NCT ID NCT07295197
Summary
This study is testing whether dentists can help identify early signs of eating disorders during routine checkups. Researchers created a special checklist that looks for mouth and teeth changes linked to disordered eating. They're comparing this dental checklist against standard eating disorder questionnaires to see if dental visits could become an early warning system.
