Scientists test new 3D scanner gadget for perfect dental implant fit
NCT ID NCT07370701
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special geometric guide to 3D mouth scanners could help create more accurate digital models for patients needing a full set of upper dental implants. Researchers compared three different scanning methods on seven patients to see which produced the best-fitting implant bridge framework. The goal was to find the most reliable way to ensure these permanent replacement teeth fit precisely and comfortably.
