NCT ID NCT07326241

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at two simple ways to reduce pain during dental procedures for children aged 6 to 12 who have a condition called Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH), which makes their teeth weak and sensitive. Researchers will test if applying a cold treatment inside the mouth or a special fluoride liquid (silver diamine fluoride) before numbing the tooth helps the anesthesia work better. The goal is to make dental visits more comfortable for these children.
