Can a pill before your root canal stop the pain?
NCT ID NCT07400471
Summary
This study is testing whether taking specific pain medications *before* a root canal procedure can reduce pain immediately after and in the days that follow. Researchers will compare two available drugs against a placebo (a pill with no medicine) in 280 adults with moderate to severe tooth pain. The goal is to find a better way to manage the discomfort associated with this common dental treatment.
