Digital dental overlays tested to save Kids' sensitive teeth
NCT ID NCT06987448
Summary
This study compared two different materials used to make custom dental overlays for children with a condition that causes weak, sensitive enamel in their back teeth. Twenty children, aged 8-13, each received one overlay made from a composite material and another from a ceramic material, one on each side of their mouth. Researchers tracked how well each overlay held up and reduced tooth sensitivity over 18 months to see which material performed better.
