First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at 180 adults with sleep apnea who use a custom mouthpiece (oral appliance) to help them breathe during sleep. Researchers took 3D photos of their teeth to measure any dental movements caused by the device. The goal was to better understand how often and how much teeth shift with long-term use.
