Scientists test which screw holds dental implants better
NCT ID NCT07242716
Summary
This study aims to find out which type of dental implant screw provides a more secure initial fit in the upper back jaw. Researchers will compare a 'knife thread' design against a 'double thread' design, both placed using a technique that compacts the bone to make it denser. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help dentists choose the best implant for patients with less dense jawbone.
