New implant threads aim to lock teeth in place
NCT ID NCT07242716
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two dental implant designs holds more securely right after placement in the upper back jaw. Researchers will compare a 'knife thread' design against a 'double thread' design, both placed using a technique that compacts bone to potentially improve stability. The goal is to help ensure dental implants integrate successfully with the jawbone from the very start.
