Dental implant showdown: which thread design wins for jaw stability?
NCT ID NCT07242716
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will test two different dental implant thread designs (knife threads vs. double threads) to see which one provides better initial stability when placed in the upper jaw using a special bone preparation technique. Twenty adults with a narrow upper jaw will receive one of the two implant types. The main goal is to measure how stable the implant is right after placement.
