Digital dentists test One-Visit implants for problem teeth
NCT ID NCT07456553
Summary
This study tested a new digital method for placing a dental implant immediately after removing an impacted (stuck) canine tooth. Five healthy adult patients who refused orthodontic treatment received the procedure, which used computer scans and guides to position the implant and a temporary crown in one visit. Researchers followed patients for two years to check the implant's stability, health of the surrounding gum, and the final appearance.
