New gum tissue technique aims for Better-Looking dental implants

NCT ID NCT07415486

Summary

This study is testing if using a small piece of a patient's own gum tissue works as well as a standard collagen sheet to help regrow bone around a new dental implant in the front of the mouth. It will involve 24 adults who need a single front tooth replaced immediately after extraction. The goal is to see if the new method provides similar bone healing while potentially improving the look and feel of the gums.
