First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at whether drilling into the jawbone before placing a dental implant affects how well it stays in place and heals. It also compares placing the implant in the center of the tooth socket versus in the socket of the palatal root. The goal is to find the best technique for immediate dental implants. The study will involve 124 healthy adults who need a tooth removed and an implant placed right away.
