New drill technique aims to stop dental implants from wobbling
NCT ID NCT07378020
Summary
This study tested three different ways to prepare the jawbone for dental implants in patients with low bone density. Researchers compared a standard drill, a special 'densifying' drill, and a bone-compacting tool to see which method gave the implant the best initial hold. The goal was to find a technique that reduces implant wobble and failure in softer jawbone areas.
