Dentists test less invasive way to build bone for implants

NCT ID NCT07329179

Summary

This study compared two surgical techniques for placing dental implants in the upper back jaw when there isn't enough bone height. It tested a newer, less invasive method against a traditional one to see which caused less pain and swelling and led to more stable implants. The goal was to find a better way to build up bone in the sinus area for people needing implants.
