Digital vs. gooey: which dental implant method is more accurate?
NCT ID NCT07252869
Summary
This study compared how accurately two types of digital mouth scanners and traditional putty-like molds could capture the shape of the mouth for dental implants. Researchers tested these methods on 51 dental models from 42 patients who needed at least two implants. They measured how closely each method matched a highly accurate laboratory scanner used as the gold standard.
