Metal or plastic? study tests which dental tool measures implant health better
NCT ID NCT07304752
Summary
This study aims to find out if metal or plastic dental probes give more accurate measurements of gum health around dental implants. Researchers will compare measurements taken with both types of tools on 64 adults with single-tooth implants. The study will also track patient comfort during the probing process to see which tool causes less discomfort.
