First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether placing a dental implant slightly deeper (2 mm below the bone) helps preserve bone around the implant compared to placing it at the bone level. Thirty adults with a single missing tooth and thin gums will receive an implant and be followed for one year. The goal is to find the best implant position to reduce bone loss and improve appearance and satisfaction.
