Deeper dental implant placement tested to save jawbone
NCT ID NCT07483086
Summary
This study is testing if placing a dental implant 2mm below the jawbone ridge helps preserve more bone and gum tissue around a new tooth compared to placing it level with the bone. It involves 30 adults with thin gums who are missing a single front tooth or premolar. Researchers will measure bone loss, gum health, appearance, and patient satisfaction over one year to see which placement method works better.
