Gum gap mystery: can a new implant design save your smile?

NCT ID NCT03787355

Summary

This study aimed to see if a specific type of dental implant connection (called a morse taper) is better at preserving the pink gum tissue and bone between two neighboring implants compared to a standard connection. Researchers followed 30 patients for a year after their implant surgery, measuring gum height, bone levels, and appearance. The goal was to find which design leads to healthier, more natural-looking results around dental implants.
