Affordable dental materials tested for perfect implant smiles
NCT ID NCT07196293
Summary
This study tested two common, low-cost dental materials to see which one works better for shaping the gums around a new dental implant. Researchers compared a light-cure composite material to a material called Protemp in 30 patients. The goal was to find which material helps create a more natural-looking gum line and supports healthier tissue around the implant.
