Summary
This study aimed to better understand a condition called peri-implantitis, which is inflammation and bone loss around dental implants. Researchers measured specific protein levels in the fluid around the implants of 54 participants who had this condition. The goal was to see if these proteins could be linked to the severity of the disease, which may help with future diagnosis or treatment approaches.
