Blood clots vs. super clots: which heals dental implants faster?

NCT ID NCT07319494

Summary

This study is testing whether a newer version of a patient's own blood-derived healing material (Advanced Platelet-Rich Fibrin) works better than the standard version when placed around a new dental implant right after a tooth is pulled. Researchers will compare how well bone and gum tissue heal around the implant in 16 patients over six months. The goal is to see if the newer material better preserves jawbone and improves healing after this common dental procedure.
