Gum graft vs. collagen patch: which works better for dental implants?
NCT ID NCT07324187
Summary
This study compared two ways to build up the pink gum tissue around a single dental implant in the visible 'smile zone'. 36 adult patients were randomly assigned to receive either a small tissue graft taken from the roof of their own mouth or a ready-made collagen patch. The main goal was to see which method was better at creating thicker, more stable gum tissue around the implant over time.
