New gum graft method aims for less pain, better looks
NCT ID NCT06261268
Summary
This study compares two surgical methods to build up gum tissue around dental implants. Researchers want to see if a newer, less invasive technique using a small strip of the patient's own gum combined with a collagen matrix works as well as the traditional method, which uses a larger graft. They will measure healing, blood flow to the graft, and patient comfort in 48 adults with thin gums around their implants.
