Scientists measure how accurately dentists can place implants using different guides
NCT ID NCT06404385
Summary
This study aimed to compare the accuracy of two different methods for making surgical guides used in dental implant placement. It involved 27 patients who needed implants for missing back teeth. Researchers measured how closely the actual implant position matched the planned position when using a digitally designed guide versus a traditionally made guide.
