Slow and steady wins the race? new dental drill study aims for stronger implants

NCT ID NCT07475416

Summary

This study is testing if using slower drill speeds during dental implant surgery leads to more stable implants and better-quality bone for healing. It will involve 36 adults who need a single implant in their lower jaw. Researchers will compare three different slow speeds to see which one best preserves the bone's natural healing ability.
