First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at three different cleaning methods for dental implants that have become infected with bacteria. The goal is to find which method removes the most harmful germs before rebuilding the bone around the implant. About 90 healthy, non-smoking adults with one infected implant will take part. The results could help dentists save more implants and prevent them from failing.
