Floss vs. brush: which works better for implant health?
NCT ID NCT06923748
Summary
This study compared two common tools for cleaning between teeth around dental implants: superfloss and small interdental brushes. It involved 52 adults with inflammation around their implants to see which tool better reduced plaque and gum bleeding. Participants were randomly assigned to use one of the tools along with an electric toothbrush for three months while researchers tracked their oral health.
