Scientists compare bone loss around dental implants in upper vs lower jaw
NCT ID NCT07323290
First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study followed 40 adults who received full-arch zirconia dental implants to see how much bone loss occurred around the implants over one year. Researchers compared outcomes between the upper and lower jaw and looked at how jaw shape and implant spacing affected bone remodeling. The goal was to gather knowledge to improve future implant procedures, not to test a new treatment.
