Summary
This study aimed to find out which of two common dental implant connection types is better at preserving jawbone. Researchers followed 14 male patients with no teeth, comparing bone loss around implants over 9 months using special X-rays. The goal was to gather knowledge to help dentists choose the best connection for long-term implant success.
