Do bigger gaps mean more bone for dental implants?

NCT ID NCT06246253

Summary

This study aimed to understand how new bone grows around dental implants placed right after a tooth is pulled. Researchers used 3D scans to measure the gap between the implant and the jawbone in 42 patients. They wanted to see if a larger gap leads to more new bone forming, which is important for a stable and good-looking implant.
