First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests a method to rebuild thin jawbone and place a dental implant in a single surgery. Doctors will use the patient's own bone chips and a special growth factor membrane to help the bone heal. The goal is to see if this approach improves bone density and gum thickness around the implant. Eight adults with narrow jawbone will be followed for 4 months after the procedure.
