Dentists test whether adding bone or tooth material improves dental implant success

NCT ID NCT07272694

Summary

This study tested whether adding bone graft or processed tooth material improves results when widening narrow jawbones for dental implants. Researchers compared three approaches in 24 patients needing implants: widening alone, widening with bone graft, and widening with dentin graft. They measured bone width, density, and implant stability over one year to determine which method works best.
