New dental implant technique aims to build stronger bone support

NCT ID NCT06875830

Summary

This study compares two methods for building up bone during immediate dental implant placement in the front upper jaw. Researchers are testing whether adding a titanium mesh under the gum helps create thicker bone support compared to using only a collagen membrane. The goal is to find which approach provides better long-term stability for implants when patients have thin bone after tooth extraction.
