Can a better implant connector save your jawbone?

NCT ID NCT07509281

Summary

This study aims to find the best design for the connector piece (called an abutment) that sits between a dental implant and a replacement tooth. Researchers will test four different combinations of abutment height and shape in 180 patients to see which design best prevents bone loss around the implant and improves long-term success. The goal is to provide better, longer-lasting dental implant treatments.
