First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at how two over-the-counter dental products (a lozenge and a water additive) affect the tiny organisms living in your mouth. About 600 adults used one of the products or a control for 60 days. Researchers collected mouth swabs and surveys to see if the products changed the mouth's bacteria and linked to overall health.
