Dental study tests best way to tuck gums for better crowns
NCT ID NCT07255976
Summary
This study compares two common dental techniques used to gently move the gum tissue away from a tooth before taking an impression for a crown or bridge. Researchers want to see which method—a special cord or a gel—works better to control bleeding, is faster to place, and creates more space for a better-fitting restoration. The study involves 66 adults aged 18-50 who need a fixed dental prosthesis.
