New tooth filling for kids could be cheaper and look better

NCT ID NCT04863222

Summary

This study compares two materials used to fill cavities in children's baby teeth. Researchers want to see if a newer material called Biodentine works as well as the standard MTA material, but costs less and doesn't cause tooth discoloration. Children ages 2-12 who need fillings in at least two matching baby teeth will have one tooth filled with each material and be followed for 3 years.
