Dentists test two filling techniques to stop that annoying Post-Treatment toothache

NCT ID NCT07212413

Summary

This study compares two modern dental filling techniques to see which causes less short-term sensitivity after treating cavities in back teeth. Adult patients who need fillings on both sides of their mouth receive one filling with each technique during the same visit. Researchers then call patients to track any discomfort over the first week, hoping to identify which method provides more comfort after treatment.
