Are dentists pulling teeth too soon? 14-Year study investigates
NCT ID NCT04705181
Summary
This study looks back at 14 years of dental records to see if the reasons for pulling first molars have changed. Researchers at Tufts University want to know if dentists are now extracting these teeth earlier, when the surrounding bone and gum problems are less severe. The goal is to understand how dental decision-making has evolved over time.
