Can a single lecture change how dentists spot this common tooth problem?
NCT ID NCT07129720
Summary
This study tested whether a short educational program could improve dental interns' knowledge and awareness of molar-incisor hypomineralization (MIH), a condition that causes weak, discolored spots on children's teeth. Two hundred dental interns took a survey, attended a lecture about MIH, and then took the survey again to see if their scores improved. The goal was to see if better training could help future dentists diagnose and manage this common condition more effectively.
