Faster dental crown fitting? study tests new 3D face scan method
NCT ID NCT05471024
Summary
This study compared two methods for fitting a single dental crown. Researchers tested whether using a 3D face scan to guide crown creation resulted in less time and material needing to be filed down during the final fitting, compared to a traditional lab method. The goal was to see if the new digital method could make the crown-fitting process quicker and potentially preserve more of the crown's strength.
