New vs. old: which dental cleaning works best for braces wearers?
NCT ID NCT07355517
Summary
This study compared two professional dental cleaning methods for people with braces who have gum inflammation (gingivitis). Thirty participants received both a newer 'Guided Biofilm Therapy' and a traditional cleaning, one on each side of their mouth, to see which was better at removing plaque and improving gum health. Researchers measured results at 2 and 8 weeks to determine which method was more effective, faster, and more comfortable.
