NCT ID NCT07166978

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 28, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special story, read in class, can help young children with autism feel less scared and more cooperative during dental checkups. About 106 preschool children in Hong Kong will either get the dental story or a general story, and researchers will measure how long appointments take and how calm the children stay. The goal is to make dental visits easier for kids with autism and their families.
