New gel could improve dental implant success after tooth removal
NCT ID NCT07099846
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special gel made from hyaluronic acid and polynucleotides, combined with a bone graft, can better preserve the jawbone after a tooth is pulled. Forty adults needing a single tooth extraction will be split into two groups: one gets the graft with gel, the other heals naturally. After 4 months, a dental implant is placed using a fully digital process, and patients are followed for up to a year to see how well the bone and implant hold up.
